Born in 1989, lives and works in Graz.
She discovered her passion for art and creativity from an early age. Beginning with pencil drawing, acrylic/oil painting and other techniques she instructed herself in creating paper cut pictures – a process in which a sheet of paper is processed with an artist cutter. In this way the motif results from the cutouts and the remaining outlines. Fascinated by the fine character of the resulting pictures, realistic and schematic moments can be combined. Her love of experimentation also led her to create a synthesis of contemporary papercutting and painting.
By creating these pictures it’s important for her to tell stories, to bring own experiences and perceptions “on paper”, but also to incorporate essences of scientific reflections. She also tries to evoke an art-viewing process that requires more than a quick glance.
