Bea Springer

Born 1974, lives and works in Vienna and Lower Austria
She sees abstract painting as a contrast to her day job, which is dominated by structures and goals. Her paintings are the result of her engagement with colour and canvas. Feelings and experiences that occupy her at that moment shape her paintings.
Being an autodidact, she refines her technique in regular further training courses, among others with by Peter Feichter, Alfred Hansl and Eftichia Schlamadinger.
She also repeatedly adopts desired images: leading colours and format are specified, the rest is part of the artist’s creative process.
