Andreas Mathes

Born in 1968 in Vienna. Andreas Mathes studied teaching for business education as well as stage and film design at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna.

After years of intense work activity at prestigious Austrian stages he dedicated to his artistic career. The material wood stands with all its various expressions and editing options in the center of his work.

His inspirations come primarily from nature but Andreas Mathes creates its own interpretations, converts the organic and human power in flowing, haptic forms.

Andreas Mathes lives and works in Bisamberg, Lower Austria.
